Speaker:
Susan Cisco, Ph.D., CRM, FAI

Susan Cisco has 35 years’ experience in the RIM/IG profession as a practitioner, educator, and consultant. Her seminal work in developing the Big Bucket approach to the classification and retention of information has simplified ECM deployment strategies and optimized user adoption for organizations around the world. She holds a MLS degree and a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin, is a CRM, and is an ARMA Fellow.
IG professionals understand the value of organizing information in shared drives and classifying it for retention, privacy, etc. The difficulty in “tidying up” usually is commensurate with the volume and diversity of information. Learn from three case studies how to:
- Establish a policy foundation for disposing of ROT and records whose retention periods have been satisfied.
- Collaborate with IT on the use of automated tools for organizing and classifying unstructured information for retention, privacy, etc.
- Support a pilot project for tidying up a shared drive.
