Understanding and Protecting Your Digital Footprint

Presented by

Casey Clifford and William Brockmiller

Presentation:

There are 4.5 billion internet users who are creating and consuming content on the internet. There are almost 4 billion people who use Social Media. This activity creates an enormous amount of Publicly Available Information (PAI) that the U.S. can use to analyze topics of interest in support of national security and foreign policy. And while this information may help U.S. national interests, the information that we create as U.S. citizens can help foreign governments analyze and exert influence in the U.S. This presentation will provide a basic PAI overview and give the audience a new perspective on their “digital footprint.”
