Abstract: 

Mr. Shields will discuss some of the benefits companies can realize by integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) into their operations.  He will also identify key operational and legal issues to be aware based on the shortfalls of Gen AI in its current nascent state. 

Presenter BIO:

Mike Shields (USAF Colonel (ret))  

Mike Shields is an attorney at Caldwell East & Finlayson, PLLC.  He works in the employment law, transactional, and litigation sections of the firm. Prior to his legal career Mike served in the United States military for 26-plus years running intelligence collection and network warfare operations as an intelligence officer. In the military, Mr. Shields worked collaboratively with other services and allies to develop data security strategies ensuring the protection of classified data.
